  • We’re recruiting a

Duty Manager to join our dedicated team at Northwick Park Hospital.

As a key member of our management team, you’ll oversee the effective delivery of domestic, portering, and limited patient food services.

You’ll lead night operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and service excellence across all areas — supporting both patient care and the hospital’s round-the-clock operations.

  • Manage and support a team
  • Oversee and coordinate Soft FM services including cleaning, portering, and patient food delivery.
  • Ensure all operations meet contractual, safety, and quality standards.
  • Act as the key on-site contact for clinical teams, including bed managers and nurses .
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, infection control, and hygiene regulations.
  • Drive operational efficiency, staff engagement, and service excellence.
  • Provide leadership and support to ensure consistent delivery across multiple sites.
  • Collaborate closely with day management teams to ensure seamless service continuity.

About You

You’ll be an experienced and confident people leader with a strong background in healthcare or Soft FM services . Calm under pressure and highly organised, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment where every detail matters.

You will have

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or Soft FM management role

(cleaning, domestic, or portering).

  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills — comfortable engaging with clinical staff and hospital management.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and compliance procedures.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to operations.
