Laundry Assistant - The Role
We're looking for a Laundry Assistant to join the team at Kents Hill Park, part of The Venues Collection.
You'll play an important role in keeping the hotel running smoothly, making sure our linen, towels and other laundry are clean, fresh and ready for our guests and teams.
It's a hands-on role where attention to detail, a good work ethic and a team-first attitude are key.
- What you'll be doing
- Sorting, washing, drying, folding and storing hotel linen, towels and other laundry.
- Making sure clean laundry is available to the relevant hotel departments when needed.
- Checking linen and laundry for stains, damage or wear and reporting any issues.
- Operating laundry equipment safely and following the correct procedures.
- Keeping the laundry room clean, tidy and organised.
- Making sure laundry is handled and stored hygienically at all times.
- Helping to maintain appropriate stock levels of linen and reporting shortages.
- Working closely with the Housekeeping team and other departments to support the smooth running of the hotel.
- Following all health & safety, hygiene and COSHH procedures.
- Supporting the wider housekeeping team when required.
