Hospitality Assistant - Zero Hours - Kents Hill, Milton Keynes £12.6 + excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.

Guest Service

  • Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all guests, delegates, and visitors.
  • Assist guests with enquiries and ensure their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service in line with Yarnfield Park standards.

Food & Beverage Service

  • Assist with the setup, service, and clear-down of conference rooms, restaurants, bars, and event spaces.
  • Serve food and beverages in a professional and hygienic manner.
  • Support buffet, banqueting, and refreshment services for conferences and events.
  • Ensure service areas are clean, well-stocked, and presented to a high standard.

Events & Conference Support

  • Set up rooms according to event requirements (layouts, equipment, refreshments).
  • Work closely with the events and operations teams to ensure smooth event delivery.
  • Respond to last-minute changes or guest requests efficiently.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

  • Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and follow company procedures at all times.
  • Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents to management promptly.

Teamwork & Flexibility

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
  • Be flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Essential: Positive attitude with a strong customer-focused approach; ability to work well in a fast-paced environment; good communication and interpersonal skills; willingness to learn and follow procedures.
