Chef de Partie – Staff Dining | Manchester

We’re looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join our busy staff dining operation in Manchester, serving up to 600 covers each day.

You’ll play a key role in preparing fresh, nutritious, and well‑presented meals while ensuring every service runs smoothly and efficiently.

Working alongside the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you’ll take ownership of your section, maintaining exceptional food quality, consistency, and hygiene standards in a high-volume environment.

  • Managing your designated kitchen section during busy breakfast and lunch services.
  • Preparing and cooking fresh, high‑quality meals for up to 600 customers each day.
  • Ensuring food is prepared and presented consistently to company standards.
  • Supporting menu delivery, stock rotation, and food waste reduction initiatives.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.
  • Working closely with the wider kitchen team to ensure efficient service during peak periods.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members while helping to maintain a positive and organised kitchen.

About you

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within contract catering, staff dining, education, healthcare, or high‑volume hospitality.
  • Confident cooking fresh food in a busy, high‑volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and allergen management.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • A positive, flexible attitude and a passion for delivering consistently great food.
  • A team player who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in producing quality meals every day.
