We are seeking an experienced and credible Account Manager to lead a high‑profile Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract based in Luton. The contract covers a broad range of services, including cleaning, security, catering and hard services, and plays a critical role in delivering a seamless workplace experience for our client. This is a highly visible, client‑facing position and would suit someone who brings confidence, personality and strong leadership to everything they do. The Role
- Provide overall leadership of the TFM contract, covering hard and soft FM services.
- Act as the primary client contact, building effective relationships and managing escalations professionally.
- Oversee performance against KPIs and SLAs, ensuring consistent delivery and continuous improvement.
- Lead, engage and develop on‑site teams and subcontractors, creating a positive and high‑performing culture.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, statutory and contractual requirements.
- Manage financial performance, including budgets, forecasting and cost control.
- Prepare and present performance reports and attend regular client review meetings.
- Proactively identify opportunities for service enhancement, innovation and added value.
About You
- Proven experience managing a cleaning and security contract within a facilities management environment.
- Experience of working on TFM contracts, with exposure to catering and hard services highly desirable.
- Several years’ experience in an Account Manager or similar senior operational role.
- Confident and credible in a client‑facing position, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong people manager with the ability to motivate, support and challenge teams effectively.
- Commercially aware, with experience managing budgets and P&L accountability.
- Solid understanding of health & safety and compliance standards.
- An interest in food and service delivery, with a genuine focus on quality and customer experience.
- Relevant FM or technical qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, IWFM or similar) are desirable.
