Salary: £57,000 - £60,000 per annum
Working pattern: 40 hours per week, (Monday-Friday) - 6.30/6.45am - 3/3.30pm
Location: London, EC2M 4UJ
Key responsibilities:
- Overall management of the kitchen operation reporting into the Executive Chef and working closely with the Chef Director
- Manage 6 Sous Chefs and a wider kitchen team of 23
- Prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
- Ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
- Develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
- Be creative when menu planning and include the client and customers
- Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standards
- Provide feedback and coaching on performance
- Ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSHH and Food Hygiene training
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment providing fresh food daily
- Passion for providing creative, fresh food menus daily, aware of current food trends in London
- Previous experience in contract catering would be advantageous
