The Role

As Lead Retail Consultant, you will play a pivotal leadership role within Tottenham and Constellation, setting the standard for operational excellence across the hospitality areas, through supplying the right people with the right skills in the right places. Your leadership will directly influence team engagement, service quality, and client satisfaction, while driving measurable improvements in efficiency and performance. You will be the Ambassador of culture. This is a role with genuine autonomy and influence, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, strengthen partnerships, and make a lasting impact on both business results and the experience of the people you lead.

Scope of Responsibility

  • You will lead delivery of Retail staffing across the venue, including managing all people within the department and building relationships with trainers and resourcing.
  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end workforce solution across the hospitality areas.
  • Ensuring all Retail areas are fully staffed on all match days as well as all non-matchdays and C+E, including all bookings for visitor attractions.
  • Ensuring a minimum level of consistency across all Retail areas on matchdays as agreed with the people lead for the venue.
  • Help to create a recruitment strategy for all frontline roles and managers across the Retail areas.
  • Be involved in the recruitment process and take a lead on ensuring targets are hit and actively support where necessary.
  • Be part of the payroll check process and help define the process.
  • Support departmental reporting process and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
  • Plan and lead the retail check-in process.
  • Support all variable ER processes that do not require HR assistance and be responsible for all follow-up processes.
  • Coaching and mentoring 1 direct report.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and report on retention of staff by area.
  • In charge of ensuring Recruitment ads are posted and up to date.
  • Complete safety walks for the department – 1 a week (52 a year).
  • Connect with the Constellation HR team to oversee localised ER issues for variable staff.
  • Attend Retail and 3rd Party Events / Matchday meetings as required.
  • Attend operational meetings with the Head of People at the stadium.
  • Report on consistency for agreed areas.

Working Pattern

Five days out of seven, including evenings, weekends.
