Join our team as a Sous Chef, supporting in delivering exceptional food and outstanding customer experiences. Working as part of a supportive kitchen team, you'll assist with daily hospitality catering and the delivery of weekly events. This role requires excellent culinary skills, strong operational awareness, and the ability to support both people and processes in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This is a Monday to Friday position with a 7:00am start. Some flexibility is required for occasional early mornings and evening events.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Assisting with the planning and delivery of weekly hospitality events
  • Preparing and presenting dishes to a high fine-dining standard
  • Supporting budgeting and food cost management
  • Leading and motivating the kitchen team when required

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a fine-dining or premium hospitality environment
  • Strong culinary skills with confidence working across all kitchen sections
  • The ability to train, motivate and support kitchen staff
  • Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
  • A good understanding of food costs, GP and the financial impact of kitchen operations
  • Sound knowledge of HACCP, food safety and industry best practice
