We’re looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our amazing site in London.
Location: WC1H 9JZ
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Working Pattern: 40 hours per week – Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm, with additional hours available as overtime.
Responsibilities:
- To invent and create menus that are in line with client and customer needs.
- To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers.
- To enjoy the food you produce and ensure they are ‘picture perfect’ every time.
- You will be responsible for running the café and cover between 50-60 covers per day.
- To communicate with the relevant parties requirements for planned menus and order necessary ingredients.
Ideal Cafe Sous Chef Candidate:
- Drive the café to improve the food and increase our covers during our lunch period.
- Is flexible and has good front of house ability to cover during busy lunch periods.
- Be highly focused on social sustainability.
- Have contract catering or café background is highly desirable.
- Very well organised and good time-management skills.
- Have in-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene protocols, and sanitation standards.
