Location: 33 Old Broad Street, London, EC2N 1HZ
Rate of Pay: £43,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, 06:30am - 15:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Head Chef, you'll be working closely with the team and the site manager to implement the seasonal menus. (Menus are centrally led).
- You'll be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing and leading the team, ensuring food quality and safety, and driving the team to deliver excellent dining experiences.
- This role combines leadership, creativity, and operational management to maintain high standards of food preparation, hygiene, and cost control.
- Ensure that budgetary targets, GP% and labour, are achieved.
- Control costs through efficient purchasing and use of existing stock whilst ensuring that Vacherin standards and style is maintained.
- Responsible for stock taking and effectively using Company systems, like Source, ILM, etc.
- To understand and comply with Company statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards including COSHH and HACCP and to ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with these standards by all members of the kitchen team.
- Managing a team of 2 CDPs & 1 KP.
Our ideal candidate will have contract catering experience.
