The Role: As the Lead Room Manager, you are the face of the space. You lead from the front, with food knowledge to hand and a passion for enticing guests to enjoy our exceptional wine offering, ensuring that every guest receives the same impeccable level of attention.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the Charge: Inspire and manage a slick front-of-house team with clarity, fairness, and high expectations.
- The Ultimate Host: Act as the visible personality of the room, recognising regulars and welcoming new guests without compromising your consistent professionalism.
- Uphold the Standard: From the perfect pour of a vintage Bordeaux to the alignment of the furniture, your attention to detail is exceptional.
- Stay Grounded: You’ll interact with high-profile individuals regularly. We need you to remain professional and focused on leading the team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
- Own the Space: Take total accountability for the matchday operation, ensuring seamless communication with our partners and wider teams.
What you will bring:
- Experience: At least 3 years’ experience in Food and Beverage management within premium hospitality.
- Knowledge: You know your way around a wine list and a shaker. You can talk confidently about flavour profiles and premium pours.
- Temperament: You are a ‘radiator’. You remain calm under pressure and make fast, confident decisions.
- Communication: You navigate conversations across diverse guest demographics with ease, genuine care, and maturity.
- Availability: Total commitment to the 2026/27 season (August – May), with attendance at a minimum of 85% of Brentford home fixtures.
Preferable:
- WSET Level 2 or above qualification.
- Mixology background or a deep passion for craft spirits.
- A passion for exceptional culinary experiences.
