About the role
This role combines event operations support with a small amount of administrative coordination. Working closely with the Senior Events Advisor, you will gain hands‑on experience across the full event delivery process while helping to keep operations organised and running smoothly. The position is designed as a development opportunity for someone looking to build a career in event operations. You will be involved in both the practical and administrative aspects of event delivery, with ongoing support and guidance from the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of events.
- Take a proactive, operational role in the planning and execution of events, being actively present on‑site to coordinate logistics, support set‑up and service delivery, and ensure a seamless guest experience, with a focus on hands‑on involvement rather than administrative tasks.
- Assist with event administration, scheduling and documentation.
- Shadow the Senior Events Advisor to gain operational experience and insight into event delivery.
- Help manage event logistics, supplier coordination and event records.
- Support communication with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with operational duties on event days, including setting up meeting rooms, preparing refreshments, moving equipment and trolleys, and supporting the day‑to‑day running of events.
- Maintain accurate event records, reports and administrative systems.

- Hospitality or catering experience is essential.

- You'll be a hands‑on operator who enjoys being on‑site, ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.
- Is comfortable with a hands‑on operational role as well as administrative responsibilities, including making coffee, setting up meeting rooms and supporting event delivery.
