We are looking for a Reception Manager/Concierge to join our team in London at a prestigious banking firm.

Location: 33 Old Broad Street London, EC2N 3AH

Rate of Pay: £40,170 per annum

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8 hours shifts between 7:00am - 19:00pm, 12 months maternity cover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and support the concierge team, ensuring exceptional service standards at all times.
  • Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring a seamless and professional guest journey.
  • Drive a culture of service excellence, coaching team members to anticipate needs and exceed expectations.
  • Manage meeting room bookings via Condeco ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Coordinate hospitality services including catering, setups, and VIP visits.
  • Handle escalations, complaints, and complex requests with professionalism and discretion.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational delivery.
  • Manage and maintain team rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels at all times.
  • Arrange shift cover for holidays and sickness using UBEYA.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly client and internal operational meetings.
  • Develop, maintain, and update operational manuals, SOPs, and service protocols.
  • Continuously review and improve procedures to enhance efficiency and guest experience.
  • Provide regular reporting and feedback to the Hospitality Manager.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience in a concierge, front-of-house, or hospitality management role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional guest service and stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience in corporate environments or high-end hospitality settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and booking systems such as Condeco.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
