Levy is seeking a Business Development Manager, across London and the South. Extremely competitive salary, plus excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more.

Overall Purpose of the Role

  • Support the Levy Conference and Events business by achievement of agreed targets.
  • 80% new business, 20% account management focus.
  • Work to deliver the Levy sales and marketing plan to the customer base.
  • Deliver a new business revenue target.
  • Deliver the venue agreed targets.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop account relationships from market segment focus clients, ensuring profitable revenue growth levels year on year.
  • Identify new leads and opportunities to develop C&E business into Levy Venues.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the C&E sales strategy.
  • Sales reporting to the agreed process and standard.
  • Undertake business reviews as and when agreed with customers to review market share, management information, action plans and joint customer activities.
  • Assist in promoting and increasing revenue alongside the Levy reactive team.
  • Organise and attend a number of agreed corporate familiarisation visits to create awareness of the venues and LVP.
  • Liaise and network with LVP to increase current market share from the preferred partnership programs if applicable with a clear focus on C&E.
  • Ensure annual sales targets & KPI’s are achieved.
  • Communication - Ensure all relevant venues are aware of relevant sales activity and carry out actions accordingly.

Person Specification

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a regional or national sales role within the C&E industry.
  • Knowledge of the events industry and bookers within the London and Greater London area.
  • Enthusiastic, motivational, someone who strives for excellence; sets high personal performance standards.
  • Someone who takes the initiative and drives for results.
  • Has a recognized and verified list of key customer contacts.
  • Organised, able to make robust judgments and prioritise.
  • Honest, transparent and consistent.
  • Gain and hold the respect of others.
  • Have a flexible approach with a “can do” attitude.
  • A good track record of driving world class performance.
  • Strong commercial experience.
  • Ability to monitor and challenge the use of processes.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and relationship building skills.
  • Be passionate about food, beverage and service.
