We’re looking for a Lobby Host to join our fantastic Rapport team in Manchester. As part of a team of 11 Hosts, you’ll shape the first impressions our visitors and occupiers experience, working closely with your colleagues and team leaders to deliver consistent service excellence. Your focus will be to provide an exceptionally high level of customer care across all front‑of‑house spaces and services, ensuring every interaction feels seamless, polished and genuinely welcoming. You’ll play a key role in supporting our prestigious client’s mission to create a workplace where people thrive.

Type of contract: Full-time, 6-months fixed-term contract

Hours: 40 per week (Monday – Thursday, on a shift rota basis between 7 AM and 7 PM)

Salary: £36,600 per annum

Main responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional welcome by greeting, guiding and supporting visitors throughout the lobby to create a seamless first impression.
  • Maintain a high-standard lobby environment ensuring the space is always presentable, safe and aligned with client expectations.
  • Coordinate visitor access using the visitor management system, working closely with security and following all access protocols.
  • Handle enquiries professionally providing accurate information, resolving issues quickly and ensuring a smooth client journey.
  • Communicate effectively with teams sharing updates, reporting concerns and supporting colleagues to deliver consistent service.
  • Take ownership of service delivery anticipating needs, supporting new starters, completing handovers and upholding high operational standards.
