Constellation are currently recruiting hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porters to join the catering team at The Fire Service College, located in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a busy and professional catering environment supporting trainees, staff, and visitors on site.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen and catering facilities. You will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation throughout the kitchen while assisting chefs and the wider catering team where required. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, food preparation, and storage areas
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required
  • Operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently
  • Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and kitchen consumables
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
  • Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and COSHH regulations
  • Assist with deliveries, stock movement, and storage procedures
  • Keep floors, work surfaces, and equipment clean and sanitised at all times
