Working pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

About the role

We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional to become the organisational backbone of our busy, high-performing kitchen.

This isn't your typical administration role.

As our Kitchen Operations Coordinator, you'll work alongside the Account Chef Director and Executive Chef, ensuring the operational side of the kitchen runs seamlessly.

From ordering and supplier management to allergens, compliance, stock control and recruitment coordination, you'll play a pivotal role in keeping one of London's leading corporate hospitality kitchens operating at the highest standard.

If you're an experienced Senior Sous Chef, Head Chef, Chef Manager or Kitchen Manager looking to use your operational expertise in a new way, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for coordinating many of the operational processes that keep our kitchen running efficiently, including:

  • Coordinating food and non-food ordering.
  • Managing supplier relationships and resolving delivery queries.
  • Coordinating weekly and monthly stocktakes.
  • Maintaining allergen and ingredient documentation.
  • Supporting food safety, Health & Safety and compliance processes.
  • Preparing documentation for audits and maintaining accurate records.
  • Managing the kitchen administration function, including reports, emails and operational documentation.
  • Coordinating recruitment administration, interviews and onboarding.
  • Liaising with suppliers, internal departments and our client to ensure a seamless operation.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and efficiencies across the kitchen.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who understands how a professional kitchen operates and enjoys creating structure, organisation and consistency behind the scenes.

  • Experience as a Senior Sous Chef, Head Chef, Kitchen Manager , Chef Manager or in a similar leadership role within a high-volume hospitality or contract catering environment.
  • A strong understanding of ordering, purchasing, stock control, food safety and allergen management.
  • Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships with suppliers, clients and colleagues.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • A passion for improving systems and helping teams work more effectively.
