Salary: £13.85 per hour, plus tronc in total £17.00 - £20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week – 5 days out of 7, shifts between 09:00am and latest finish 10:30pm (rota basis), flexibility is a must.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the head chef, leading, and supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene.
  • Responsible for training and development of up to team of 5 team members.
  • Foster a positive and efficient working environment, leading by example and motivating the kitchen teams at each site.
  • Maintaining high food quality standards.
  • Assist with ordering supplies, managing inventory, and controlling stock levels within budget for all three kitchens.
  • Help manage budgets and control food costs, ensuring profitability for each area.

Ideal candidate Junior Sous Chef:

  • Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.
  • Have experience as a Junior Sous Chef or equivalent role with a strong culinary background.
  • Have strong leadership, communication skills, and a passion for food to ensure smooth, efficient service.
  • Demonstrate brilliant financial acumen.
  • Very well organised and good time-management skills.
  • Comes from a high-end restaurant background.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Have willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
