What You'll Be Doing
As a Hospital Cleaner, your role will be essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospital.
Your duties may include
- Cleaning wards, clinical areas, offices and communal spaces to a high standard
- Cleaning patient areas, corridors and other hospital facilities
- Following strict infection prevention and control procedures
- Cleaning and sanitising high-touch and high-traffic areas
- Emptying and disposing of waste safely and correctly
- Restocking cleaning products and supplies where required
- Using cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Following COSHH, Health & Safety and hospital cleaning procedures
- Working as part of a supportive and professional cleaning team
- Maintaining confidentiality and treating patients, visitors and colleagues with respect
- Shift Information
A variety of shifts may be available across the hospital, including weekday evening, night and weekend shifts , depending on operational requirements.
- Flexible shift patterns available
- Full-time hours may be available
- Weekend availability welcomed

- Candidates who can commit to regular hours will be prioritised for consistent bookings
Typical shifts 6pm-10pm Weekday and 7am - 7pm Saturday & Sunday.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for reliable people who take pride in their work and understand the importance of maintaining excellent cleaning standards within a hospital environment.
You'll need
- Previous cleaning experience – hospital, healthcare, hotel, commercial or industrial cleaning experience is welcomed
- Good spoken and written English
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning and infection control procedures
- The right to work in the UK
- Must be
- 18 years or over
Previous hospital cleaning experience is desirable but not essential , as full training will be provided.

As you'll be working within a hospital environment, successful applicants will be required to complete the relevant onboarding and compliance checks, which may include:
- Enhanced DBS check
