We’re opening a brand-new Costa Coffee at Glasgow Airport, and this is an exciting opportunity to be part of something new from day one. This is a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where speed, service and quality are everything.
As an Assistant Manager, you’ll be the Store Manager’s right-hand person, running your own shifts and leading from the front. This is a hands-on role — you’ll be making coffee, preparing food, supporting the team, and ensuring every customer has a great experience before heading to the gate.
Responsibilities- Running shifts independently and confidently
- Supporting the Store Manager with day-to-day operations
- Delivering excellent customer service in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
- Hands-on preparation of hand-crafted Costa coffee and food
- Leading, motivating and supporting the team on shift
- Maintaining speed, accuracy and quality during peak travel times
- Helping build repeat custom in a location that isn’t immediately obvious
Take-away only unit. Modern store with:
- 2 self-order kiosks
- 1 till
- 3 coffee machines
Customers are typically on their way to flights, so efficiency and friendliness are key.
What We’re Looking For- Strong customer service and people skills
- Experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
- Confidence, ambition and a hands-on attitude
- Awareness and adaptability — this is a new opening, and we’re learning as we go
- Someone who enjoys responsibility and leading a shift
