We are currently recruiting a driven General Assistant/Barista to help us serve food and create beautifully crafted drinks for Vacherin on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As a General Assistant, you will use your skills to deliver first-class food service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Key responsibilities:
- Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
- Keeping the bar and restaurant area clean
- Receiving and processing payments (credit cards)
- Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
- Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
- Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
- Checking if brewing equipment operates properly and reporting any maintenance needs
- Representing Vacherin and maintaining a positive brand image
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations
