We're looking for a motivated and passionate kitchen assistant to serve as the heart of our operations for Chartwells on a part‑time basis, contracted to 10 hours per week. You'll join a team that takes real pride in its food, brand, and people, and you’ll be given the opportunity to progress within a company that celebrates individuality and rewards employees who go beyond the plate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing delicious, high‑quality food for clients and customers
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and surrounding areas
- Ensuring the correct use of all machinery and equipment
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries and supply vehicles
- Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations
- Demonstrating the ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels
- Being an excellent team player
- Having a committed and organised approach
- Possessing the ability to succeed in your role and work under pressure
