What You’ll Be Doing

  • Cleaning all cooking utensils as required by the culinary team
  • Ensuring all cutlery, crockery, and glassware are cleaned and presented to a high standard before and after use
  • Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently
  • Communicating effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams to support smooth service
  • Operating cleaning machinery safely and in line with company training and procedures
  • Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations, including hygiene standards, manual handling, and COSHH guidelines
  • Maintaining high standards of kitchen housekeeping, including sweeping and mopping floors
  • Disposing of waste correctly and keeping all work areas clean and organised
  • Supporting chefs and the wider team with basic prep tasks as required
  • Assisting with stock movement and any additional duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 6 months experience as a kitchen porter
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
