We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Preston site. This is a site-based position, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a close-knit operational team.
Responsibilities
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Support electrical installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Qualified to at least Level 3 NVQ / HNC in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of PLCs, control panels, and electrical schematics is desirable.
