As Logistics Support at IWM Duxford, you will work as part of the wider on-site team to ensure that the overall site runs smoothly. You will work across multiple departments, using your skills to complete all necessary tasks. A key part of this role is being the designated driver of the on-site van, distributing stock and moving furniture to ensure everything is where it needs to be. Due to the location of IWM Duxford, it is essential that you are able to get to and from the site without relying on public transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with room set-ups as part of the on-site events business, as well as ensuring the visitor café and restaurant has everything it needs (guided by the management team).
- Drive the on-site van to distribute stock, equipment, and furniture to the designated area.
- Work with the kitchen team to help in the kitchens where necessary.
- Be an enthusiastic team player.
- Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image.
- Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
