We’re looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join a large-scale contract catering operation within a leading media company, serving up to 4,000 people daily across staff dining, hospitality, coffee bars and events. This is a high-volume, fresh-food environment with live cooking stations, rotating pop-ups, terrace BBQs and events for up to 400 guests. It’s a great opportunity for a chef who thrives in a busy kitchen, enjoys variety and wants to develop their experience within a premium contract catering setting.
What you’ll be doing:
- Running your own section within a busy, fresh-food kitchen
- Preparing and cooking high-volume breakfast and lunch services
- Supporting live cooking stations and rotating pop-up concepts
- Assisting with hospitality, banqueting and event food preparation
- Following recipes, specifications, portion controls and presentation standards
- Maintaining quality, consistency and speed throughout service
- Working across different sections and supporting the wider brigade
- Getting involved with terrace BBQs, seasonal activations and special events
- Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Contributing ideas and helping create an engaging food offer for customers
What you’ll need:
- Previous Chef de Partie experience within contract catering, events, banqueting, production or another high-volume kitchen
- Strong fresh-food cooking skills and a good understanding of modern food trends
- Experience working in busy, high-volume service environments
- Ability to follow recipes, specifications and costing controls
- Confidence working across different sections and adapting to changing service requirements
