The role

  • Food & Beverage Preparation
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including teas, coffees, and specialty beverages.
  • Prepare café food items.
  • Ensure food is presented to a high standard.
  • Follow portion control guidelines.
  • Operate the cash register and card payment systems.
  • Process customer transactions accurately.
  • Balance tills in accordance with company procedures where required.
  • Food Safety & Hygiene
  • Follow all Food Safety and Hygiene regulations.
  • Comply with Food Hygiene and Natasha's Law requirements.
  • Maintain excellent personal hygiene and wear the correct uniform and PPE.
  • Ensure allergens are handled correctly and communicated to customers when required.
  • Cleaning & Housekeeping
  • Keep the café, kitchen, dining area, and service counters clean and tidy.
  • Wash utensils, equipment, and crockery.
  • Dispose of waste correctly and safely.
  • Complete cleaning schedules throughout the shift.
  • Stock Management
  • Replenish food, drinks, and consumables.
  • Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out).
  • Report low stock levels or damaged products.
  • Assist with stock deliveries and storage.
  • Teamwork
  • Work effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth café operations.
  • Support other team members during busy periods.
  • Attend training sessions and team briefings.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
