We are looking for a proactive and customer‑focused Catering Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the delivery of an efficient, high‑quality catering service, ensuring exceptional customer experiences at all times. Working closely with colleagues and clients, you will help maintain outstanding food service standards, promote a positive team culture, and contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering excellent customer service and creating positive experiences for customers and clients.
  • Assisting with hospitality set‑up, catering mise en place, and stock management.
  • Ensuring food displays, service areas, and workstations are clean, fully stocked, and maintained to a high standard.
  • Minimising food waste, monitoring stock quality, and maintaining accurate temperature and safety records.
  • Working collaboratively with catering and chef teams to deliver food programmes and promotions.
  • Responding professionally to customer requests, feedback, and complaints.
  • Attending training sessions and meetings to maintain knowledge and compliance standards.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a catering or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of catering mise en place and hospitality preparation.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety, and stock control procedures.
  • The ability to follow procedures, use equipment safely, and maintain accurate records.
