We are currently recruiting an experienced School Chef to work on a temporary basis at schools in the Cambridge area. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled chef looking for flexible agency work with competitive rates of pay.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for students and staff
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation
- Following school menus and dietary requirements
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations

Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Chef, ideally within schools, education, care, or contract catering environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and allergen regulations
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Must have continuously lived in the UK for the last 5 years (required for compliance and vetting purposes)
- An enhanced DBS certificate is preferred; however, if you do not currently hold one, a DBS check can be arranged
