As a Logistics Porter, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of customer care and cleanliness. Logistics Porter - The Role
- Receive and manage all deliveries for the catering department, ensuring items are stored promptly and correctly (e.g. frozen goods in freezers, chilled items in fridges).
- Inspect all deliveries for quality, rejecting any damaged or unsuitable items and reporting issues to your line manager.
- Maintain a strong understanding of correct storage procedures for raw meat and other perishable goods.
- Manage the COSHH cupboard, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and replenishing stock as required.
- Use the Levy ordering system to support stock ordering and accurately check in deliveries.
- Maintain Purchase Order logs, complete end-of-week consumption reports, and assist with monthly Levy stock takes, ensuring information is shared with relevant teams.
- Maintain clear organisation of stock areas and implement effective stock rotation procedures.
- Coordinate the distribution of stock across the training ground in line with weekly training and match schedules, including Academy catering, Women’s and Men’s First team requirements.
- Ensure external areas (including skip and goods-in areas) are kept clean, tidy, and compliant with EHO standards, and support team awareness of these requirements.
- Being an enthusiastic team player.

- Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
- Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
- Undertake additional duties as required that are appropriate to the role.
