About the role
As General Manager, you'll have overall responsibility for the successful day-to-day operation at Bournville, whilst providing leadership and support across the wider Mondelez group.
You'll be responsible for
- Leading and developing a large operational team across multiple outlets.
- Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Bournville contract.
- Building and maintaining strong, proactive relationships with the client.
- Working closely with the client to understand their needs and consistently exceed expectations.
- Identifying opportunities to grow sales, improve profitability and develop the overall offer .
- Driving a consistent and high-quality food and hospitality offer.
- Managing multiple outlets and ensuring consistent operational standards across the site.
- Completing and overseeing daily and weekly financial and operational bookwork.
- Monitoring performance against agreed targets and KPIs.
- Supporting and developing managers and team members to deliver their best performance.
- Ensuring all Compass standards, food safety, health & safety and compliance requirements are maintained.
- Working collaboratively with the wider Mondelez management team to share best practice and drive consistency.
- Providing remote support to the Chirk and Marlbrook sites on a weekly basis.
- Visiting
Chirk and Marlbrook approximately once a month to provide operational leadership, support and ensure standards are maintained.
- Managing your time effectively across a multi-site operation, balancing the needs of Bournville with wider group responsibilities.
About you
We're looking for an experienced
General Manager, Contract Manager, Operations Manager or similar senior catering professional with a strong background in large-scale workplace catering.
Experience of managing large teams across multiple outlets would be highly advantageous.
You'll be
