We're looking for a dynamic Barista to deliver high-quality coffee and beverages while creating a welcoming and engaging experience for members and guests at The Conduit - one of London’s leading private members’ clubs. Birchwood at The Conduit, led by chef Will Devlin, is a brand-new cafe and wine bar that will bring a fresh, ingredient-led approach rooted in seasonality and sustainable sourcing. Expect bold, thoughtful dishes and a space designed for connection in the heart of Covent Garden.
The role
- Prepare high-quality coffee and hot beverages to consistent standards
- Support preparation of other drinks as required
- Maintain strong knowledge of coffee, ingredients, and preparation techniques
- Ensure all beverages are presented to a high standard
- Deliver warm, friendly, and efficient service to guests
- Engage with guests, offering recommendations to enhance their experience
- Collaborate with front of house and wider team to ensure smooth service
- Set up, maintain, and restock the barista station and work areas
- Follow opening/closing procedures and maintain cleanliness across FOH and BOH
- Adhere to health, safety, hygiene, and company standards while supporting ongoing development
What we're looking for
- Experience as a Barista or in a similar hospitality role preferred
- Good knowledge of coffee and beverage preparation
