Position Overview: As the Head Barista, you will work closely with the Site Deputy General Manager to ensure that your unit delivers efficient, effective, and consistent service to customers and clients in a coffee environment. You will assist team members in their duties while adhering to company policies and procedures and perform general duties that support the smooth operation of your unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the barista team to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Foster effective relationships and collaborate internally at all levels of the team.
  • Demonstrate Compass values and principles in all interactions.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of the Client Food Program.
  • Learn and implement directives effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate confidently with team members and middle management.
  • Collaborate across various teams on projects related to your unit.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Barista.
  • Proven ability to create effective relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Strong understanding of coffee preparation and service.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
  • Passion for food service and a commitment to excellence.
