We are hiring immediately for full and part time CATERING ATTENDANT positions at Lincoln Memorial University, 6965 Cumberland Gap Parkway, Harrogate, TN 37752. Note: online applications accepted only. Schedule includes full time and part time with open availability preferred. Hours and days may vary, including nights and weekends; more details upon interview. Prior catering experience is preferred. Pay range: $13.00 to $14.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain.
- Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
- Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event area during and after events; breaks down the setup and returns leftovers and equipment to the catering facility in a timely manner.
- Logs and maintains food temperatures; arranges tables, decorations, buffet setups with food and service items; serves food and beverages to guests.
- Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed; returns food, beverages, equipment and utensils to the catering facility; distributes and collects guest comment cards.
- Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facility and equipment; maintains a clean and safe work environment; follows safety and sanitation policies at all times.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler’s permit and/or alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law.
