A well-established engineering services provider is seeking an experienced Pump Engineer to join their team covering the South East. The role focuses primarily on cold water booster sets and pressurisation units, with additional work on sewage pumps, storm water pumps, and associated equipment.

This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys varied field work, problem-solving, and hands-on mechanical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintenance, and repair of cold water booster sets
  • Inspection, testing, and commissioning of pressurisation units
  • Mechanical maintenance on sewage and storm water pumps
  • Replacement of bearings, mechanical seals, and other pump components
  • Fault-finding and diagnostics across a range of pump systems
  • Completing service reports and compliance documentation
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with industry standards
  • Providing excellent customer service on client sites
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience as a Pump Engineer or Mechanical Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of booster sets, pressurisation units, and pump systems
  • Confident in replacing bearings, seals, and carrying out mechanical strip-downs
  • Ability to diagnose faults and work independently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience with sewage or storm water pumps (desirable)
