About the role

Our finance team needs reliable support to keep billing, supplier data, and financial records accurate and up to date. The responsibility of the role is to ensure that invoices, payments, and administrative finance tasks are handled properly and consistently – so nothing gets missed, data stays clean, and managers always have a clear and reliable view of what has been billed, received, and paid. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role, doing the fundamentals exceptionally well, every day. The role involves a significant amount of process-driven and repetitive work, and is best suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and getting the details right every time.

Job description

  • Billing, Invoicing & Finance Support
  • Prepare, check, and issue invoices accurately
  • Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Ensure billing details, bank details, and payment terms are complete and correct
  • Handle multi-currency transactions with care and accuracy
  • Input and manage bills in Xero
  • Support bank reconciliations and basic financial checks
  • Track what has been invoiced, received, paid, and outstanding
  • Provide clear, structured updates so managers always have an accurate view
  • CRM & Data Management
    • Maintain accurate and consistent records across systems
    • Ensure key data fields are correctly completed
    • Cross-check data between CRM and accounting systems
    • Keep systems clean, organised, and up to date
  • Vendor & Administrative Support
    • Maintain supplier records and documentation
    • Ensure all required information is complete and accurate
    • Handle recurring administrative tasks reliably and without supervision

    You’ll need to have:

    • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
    • Entry-level or early-stage finance training (e.g. AAT Level 1–2 or equivalent)
    • Strong attention to detail and highly organised
    • Experience with Xero
    • High level of organisation, accuracy, and able to meet tight deadlines
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multi-currency transactions
    • Full right to work in UK without visa sponsorship
