The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Responsibilities

  • As Chartway’s Land Buyer, you will support the Land Managers and Land Director to acquire residential and mixed-use sites in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, and Essex.
  • You will maintain relationships with land agents and promoters to generate new opportunities for the group, then manage the end-to-end bid process for new sites, including briefing and managing internal teams.
  • You will be responsible for running appraisal scenarios on new pipeline sites, updating and managing the group land tracker, and supporting the legal and compliance processes for site purchases, i.e. drafting Board purchase packs, drafting and reviewing Heads of Terms, reading land purchase contracts, and responding to enquiries.

About you

  • You’ll come from a similar position, with experience in Land Acquisition, ideally from a private developer.
  • Excellent IT and organisation skills, be organised, and have a sound understanding of the planning system & procedures, and a good knowledge of the regional area and associate markets.
