Are you a passionate Materials Test or Metallurgical Engineer seeking an exciting opportunity within the automotive or manufacturing sector? Chartsign is partnering with a leading employer to find a dedicated Laboratory Tech Analyst to join their dynamic team.

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive metallurgical, mechanical, and destructive testing on components such as batteries, EDUs, and frames. Your expertise will support quality assurance processes, including weld and radiographic inspections, microscopy, and materials analysis, ensuring standards like IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 are upheld.

Ideal candidates will have experience with:

  • Metallurgical preparation
  • Testing equipment
  • Interpreting engineering drawings

A background in steel, aluminium, and proficiency with equipment like optical microscopes and ultrasonic testers is essential. Desirable skills include:

  • CT scan interpretation
  • Welding knowledge
  • CSWIP inspection certification
