Our client is seeking an experienced Data Privacy & Compliance Manager to join their Product Engineering team. In this role, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting the assessment of complex projects that manage personal data in compliance with EU and UK Data Protection legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on legislative-focused privacy requirements for Engineering projects.
- Identify and articulate high-risk processing, complex data flows, and security controls.
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a dedicated Privacy role.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex legal arguments.
Qualifications:
- CIPP/E qualification
- Law degree or Qualified lawyer.
