Role Description
This is a full-time role for an 8 Wheel Tipper Driver based in Dukinfield, with previous experience of tipper work. Primary responsibilities include the safe and efficient operation of an 8-wheel tipper truck, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Daily duties involve transporting materials, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, communicating effectively with the dispatch team, and providing exemplary service to customers. The ideal candidate maintains a thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and display professionalism and responsibility at all times.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Truck Driving with a valid Class C license
- Up to date drivers tacho card and DQC card essential
- Strong verbal Communication skills and a commitment to excellent Customer Service
- Experience operating and maintaining 8-wheel tipper trucks
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of the North West road networks
- A clean driving record is preferred (6 points max)
- Prior experience in a similar role in tippers is an advantage (training can be given)
