We have an opening for a proactive and detail-focused Credit Control Assistant to join our busy Lettings Accounts team in Southampton. What you’ll be doing:
- Managing credit control for the Lettings Accounts team via phone and email
- Chasing and following up on rent arrears
- Handling tenant and landlord enquiries
- Allocating payments and resolving account queries
- Preparing landlord disbursements
- Processing contractor payments for maintenance and repairs
- Working closely with internal teams to keep accounts running smoothly
What we’re looking for:
- Previous Credit Control experience preferred
- Property industry experience beneficial but not essential
- Basic accounting knowledge and strong numerical skills
- Good Excel and IT skills
- Experience with Reapit or Fixflow is an advantage
