1 Year Fixed Term Maternity Cover From September 2026

Charterhouse is seeking to appoint an inspiring, innovative and ambitious Teacher of Geography and/or Environmental Systems and Societies to join a talented and supportive department on a one-year fixed-term basis from September 2026. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, or have the clear potential to become one, with the ability to teach Geography across the full age range from Year 9 to Year 13.

There is scope for the timetable to focus on Geography and/or Environmental Systems and Societies, depending on experience and expertise. This is an excellent opportunity to join a department that values academic rigour, intellectual curiosity and innovation in teaching. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the wider pastoral and co-curricular life of this busy boarding school community. Fieldwork is an important part of the role.
