Are you an experienced and detail-driven Paralegal ready to take the next step in your legal career? A respected and well-established Townsville law firm is looking for a proactive and organised Paralegal to join their dynamic team.
This is a unique opportunity to work across a diverse practice covering commercial law, family law, criminal defence, and civil litigation, providing real variety and exposure to complex and meaningful matters.
About the Role
As a valued member of the team, you will support multiple solicitors and play a vital role in day-to-day legal operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting legal correspondence, court documents, and briefs
- Conducting legal research and case analysis
- Managing files, preparing documents for court and client meetings
- Handling client communications with professionalism and care
- Overseeing diary management and scheduling for lawyers and court dates
- Providing general legal and administrative support
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ paralegal experience in a law firm (multi-practice preferred)
- Strong knowledge across commercial, family, criminal and litigation matters
