Charterhouse seeks to appoint an outstanding Teacher of Theology, Philosophy and Ethics (TPE) to join its intellectually ambitious and forward-thinking department from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a reflective, curious and committed educator to teach across the full age range of the School, including A-Level Philosophy, within a department known for academic rigour, innovation and collaboration.

About the Department
The TPE Department plays a significant role in the academic life of Charterhouse and is one of the Schoolβs most popular GCSE option subjects. The department has a strong reputation for innovative curriculum design, including pioneering courses such as Technology Ethics and Space Ethics, alongside excellent outcomes at IGCSE, A-Level and IB. The department is a friendly, cohesive team of subject specialists who care deeply about the importance of Philosophy, Theology and Ethics in the formation of thoughtful, ethically engaged young people.
