Charterhouse is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, talented and ambitious Teacher of Biology to join its thriving Science Faculty from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for either an early-career Biology graduate looking to enter the profession or an experienced teacher seeking a fresh challenge within a forward-thinking, values-led school. Charterhouse offers an excellent in-house training and support programme and would consider appointing a strong candidate who does not yet hold a formal teaching qualification.
The Role
- Teach Biology throughout the School, including IGCSE and Sixth Form (A Level and/or IB)
- Inspire pupils across the attainment range, stretching the most able while supporting all learners to succeed
- Contribute enthusiastically to enrichment beyond the classroom, including societies, competitions and trips
- Play a full part in the pastoral and co-curricular life of a busy and rewarding boarding school community
An interest in teaching a second subject would be welcome, but is not essential.
