We are seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller to join a growing company. This is a pivotal role where you will lead financial control, governance, and reporting across our regional operations, ensuring alignment with group policies and driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for financial control across the region, ensuring compliance with group accounting policies
  • Maintain robust internal controls and ensure balance sheet integrity
  • Support group risk management and internal audit processes
  • Lead the preparation of monthly regional management accounts and reporting to Group Finance
  • Oversee regional statutory reporting and audit processes
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Stakeholder Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the regional finance team
  • Systems & Continuous Improvement

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven finance leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK statutory reporting and group controls
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Previous experience in the construction industry would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with finance transformation projects and system improvements
