Responsibilities

  • Supporting product compliance across UK and EU markets
  • Assisting with identifying relevant legislation and standards
  • Helping prepare and maintain technical documentation and Declarations of Conformity
  • Reviewing supplier documentation and test reports, flagging any issues
  • Checking product labelling, safety warnings, and instructions meet requirements
  • Liaising with suppliers to gather compliance documentation
  • Working with Buying and Product teams to consider compliance early in development
  • Supporting responses to compliance-related queries from marketplaces or regulators
  • Maintaining accurate records and helping improve internal processes

Qualifications

  • Some experience or interest in product compliance, safety, quality, or similar areas
  • Basic understanding of UK/EU product safety legislation (or willingness to learn)
  • Good attention to detail and organisation
  • Proactive, with a willingness to learn and get stuck in
  • Clear communication skills and ability to manage workload with support
