Responsibilities
- Supporting product compliance across UK and EU markets
- Assisting with identifying relevant legislation and standards
- Helping prepare and maintain technical documentation and Declarations of Conformity
- Reviewing supplier documentation and test reports, flagging any issues
- Checking product labelling, safety warnings, and instructions meet requirements
- Liaising with suppliers to gather compliance documentation
- Working with Buying and Product teams to consider compliance early in development
- Supporting responses to compliance-related queries from marketplaces or regulators
- Maintaining accurate records and helping improve internal processes
Qualifications
- Some experience or interest in product compliance, safety, quality, or similar areas
- Basic understanding of UK/EU product safety legislation (or willingness to learn)
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- Proactive, with a willingness to learn and get stuck in
- Clear communication skills and ability to manage workload with support
