Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for precision and a knack for organisation? We are seeking a dynamic Accounts Manager to join a close-knit team. This position is a part-time contract for 1 year initially with the view to lead to a permanent opportunity for the right person.

As the Accounts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing multiple accounts, including the official Expenses Account, with a combined value exceeding £1 million.

Benefits:

  • Competitive Salary: Circa £50,000 pro rata.
  • Hybrid working
  • Part-time - 22 hours a week
  • 1 year contract - with a view to permanent for the right person

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing multiple accounts, including the official expenses account
  • Creating and managing annual budgets, monitoring expenditure, and providing regular financial reports
  • Maintaining accurate records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments and invoicing
  • Preparing accounts for audit and liaising with relevant departments
  • Working closely with budget managers, the Operations Manager, and external financial teams

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in preparing and presenting accounts for audit
  • Strong background in bookkeeping, accounts, and budgeting
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formula creation
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels
  • AAT Intermediate qualification or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential
