A dynamic and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Northallerton is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Ledger Specialist to join their team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Responsibilities
- Managing general accounting activities, including General Ledger (GL) and fixed assets.
- Reviewing and reconciling General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Preparing and analyzing commercial finance reports to support decision-making.
- Utilizing SAP ECC/S4 HANA systems for accurate financial data management and reporting.
- Assisting with group reporting requirements to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Supporting external audit processes by providing accurate and timely financial information.
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general accounting, with a strong focus on GL and fixed assets.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial finance reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP ECC/S4 HANA systems.
- Familiarity with group reporting processes and external audit requirements.
